With the advent of rapid industrialization, there is an acute shortage of qualified safety officer / safety engineer in the country. There are very few Safety Institutes in India recognized by Directorate of Factories as per Factory Act offering a course in industrial safety management, in which IIISM is one among them and only Institute in karnataka.

Those are interested in this course may download the application form from Home page and send dully filled application form to the below mentioned address along with the application fee of Rs 500/- (Demand Draft drawn in favour of “INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL SAFETY MANAGEMENT"or IIISM payable at Bengaluru).

INDUSTRIAL INTERNSHIP & PLACEMENT:

For industrial exposure IIISM will be arranging for internships during second semester in the Major industries for two months duration as a part of 'Project Work', which makes the students more competent to work as safety Engineer / Safety Officer. It also helps the students to get absorbed in those companies where they were selected for Internship. 

INDUSTRIAL TRAINING

Learning about safety management and safety apects within the four walls of the class rooms will not provide all the necessary requirements for students to become safety engineers; hence to demonstrate safe working procedure to the students, we will arrange industrial visits on regular basis.
